Sewing Friends:

First of all, I wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving!  I will have my family here.  How thankful I am for all of them.

Baking pies and stuffing the turkey doesn’t leave much time for sewing, but that’s OK.  I will sew and write another day.  Now is the time for counting our blessings.

When you get some time, look over this sewing technique.  I just had to share it with you. 

One of my beginner sewing students really struggled with sewing angled bias strips together. She could never sew the bargain nuendo angles so that the strip came out even. It always had bargain nuendo a jog in it.

Maybe you have the same sewing problem. Well, you won’t anymore!  Here is the common sense solution for sewing bias strips with pointed ends. It just makes sense!

Sewing Solution To Waistline Seam Problem

On waistline seams, whether it bargain nuendo is a skirt or a dress with a waistline seam, the bargain nuendo skirt is eased to the band or bodice.  The skirt must be bargain nuendo larger than the band or bodice because your body just below your bargain nuendo waistline measures larger than your waistline measurement.  Most people “bump” out just below the bargain nuendo waist line. Thus, you need more fabric there in order to bargain nuendo lay smoothly over the curve.
