Sewing Projects - Placemats 

Sewing Friends:

Please help!  I am looking for ideas to sew placemats that we can all share.

My new lens at Squidoo.com  is a new resource for placemats. I want it to be a central location to find ideas to sew placemats or to buy them online.

Whether someone is getting married, having an anniversary or moving into a new home, custom placemats are a favorite gift. The kids love their own special placemat and even enjoy making them for Mom.  It’s a quick and easy way to change your home decor, too.  And they are especially decorative at holiday time.

I’d really like to have a lot of different placemats to share with everyone.  I need your help to do that.  I know that you all have a favorite placemat idea around
your home or sewing room somewhere.  Dig it out and share it!
