I love table runners.  They are fun and easy to make and really dress up your table, mantle, server, and can even hang on your wall.  They add a festive look to a very plain table.  Think about giving a table runner as a gift to your favorite hostess. 

Table runners are great sewing projects.  They are a good place to try out sewing or quilting techniques as well as any creative or artistic idea you might have.  Many table runners are no-sew projects as well.  Anyone can make a table runner.
